As always, Anna Griffin has delivered a classy paper & embellishment line.  The embellishments highlight "friendship."  Come check out the new trims, felt borders, dimensional stickers, epoxy stickers, and VERY cool die cut papers.  We just had to show you a picture of this PAPER  DRESS that Anna Griffin had on her blog.  Pretty amazing!  

Dream Street:  The New "Sam" Collection!

Dream Street is always so fresh and funky and the "Sam" collection is no exception.  The papers are woodsy, and are perfect for those family, friends, school, or autumn layouts by just using some of the the die-cut sheets that havemany cool words and phrases to use.  The coordinating embellishments are very beautiful especially the rubons.

Please help our military families!!

Operation Showers of Appreciation, who has been working hard for years to get essential baby items to military families, is joining forces with Scrapbook Royalty, a non-profit organization that hosts scrapbooking events to raise money and awareness for other charities.

This is great news for San Diego’s military!

The 12-hour event is being held on August 29, 2009 at Pink Pineapple Scrapbooks in Vista, California.

The crop (a type of modern-day quilting bee where participants scrapbook, craft, share, and have fun) will feature a class designed and taught by Leah Fung, Contributing Editor for Scrapbooks. 

Class Description: Photo Banner - from 10 am till 12 noon.
In Leah's class, you will create a family pennant banner to display your favorite family photos year round. This beautiful vintage banner is made using the hottest new product from Making Memories, most of which hasn't even made it's way into the stores yet! You will LOVE playing with this new product, and not only will you come home with a gorgeous family banner, you'll pick up a few new tips and techniques too. And as always, Leah will bring some cool prizes from Making Memories to give away. During the event you will also receive fabulous goodies and fairy fly bys, games, great food, tea time, camaraderie, and more! If you can not come for the entire event, please stop by to bid on cool auction items!!  The event will raise money through donations, raffles, and silent auctions.

The cost for the event is $50 which includes Leah's banner class, goodies, breakfast, lunch, dinner & tea time.

You must ALSO RAISE $50 in donations OR you can bring ALL of the following supplies in lieu of the $50 donation.  You MUST bring all of the items listed below, or you will be responsible for the minimum $50 donation.

It's A Jungle Out There!

Shop Hop 2009 starts this Friday, August 7th.  We just HAD to share a picture of the make-n-take our very own Jennifer Priest, Design Team Member, made just for the "Hoppers!"  How darn cute is the monkey and the tree with the banana's ripe for the pickin'?  Each of the 39 stores will also have their own 6x6 page.  It is still NOT TO LATE to join us for our adventure through Scrapbook land. 

Kid's Camp....Round 2!

Kid's camp was such a blast, the girls and I decided we wanted to do it again before school starts!!  Their 8x8 albums titled "Favorites/Friends" came out darling!!  They had a blast painting, stickling, stamping, inking, punching, blinging, and creating!!  The girls also made glitter bracelets that they couldn't WAIT to wear!

We will have another Kid's Camp on Wednesday & Thursday, August 12th & 13th, from noon to 2:00pm.  The kids will complete another 10-page 8x8 album "Summertime" themed.  Have them bring 15-20 photos from the beach, pool, camps, vacations etc.   Cost for both days is $45 and includes all the materials, snacks and drinks.  Please bring adhesive, scissors and a black journal pen.  760-598-2222.
