Not Your Ordinary Anna Griffin!!

The new Anna Griffin products that just arrived are definitely MUCH DIFFERENT than her normal soft floral patters.  This new line is HOT, very diva-ish! Bright pink and black, zebra and other animal print, hot pink glittery photo corners, hip acrylic stamps, Mylar packs, paper packs, brad sets, yummy ribbon, border stickers, epoxy and 3-D stickers, fuzzy stickers, and papers galore!!  The new line is called "Peyton!" 

Donna Downey & Emily Falconbridge....

The new canvas album and embellishment line from Donna Downey is in our store NOW!  Donna designed a very cool 8x8 Canvas Album with canvas pages AND it also includes page protectors.  The embellishments are so cool and unique!  We got it ALL!!  The stitched canvas tabs, tags and shapes are all out on the shelves and we got in PLENTY to go around!  Donna's new product line was released at the Craft and Hobby Show in January with Prima and we could not wait for it to get here.    This photo collage was taken directly from Donna's blog at DonnaDowney.typepad.com.  The photo shows some of the pieces of her new line that are now adorning our beautiful little store.  The bird and house are some of the  "shapes" and you can see peeks of the little stitched tabs. The tabs all have little words stitched on them.  So awesome I tell ya!!

Emily Falconbridge:

Emily is a Garden Girl at Two Peas In A Bucket, a member of the CK Dream Team 2008, writer for www.todaysmama.com, and an artist who has been published several time in Autumn Leaves books such as Designing with Color and Freestyle.  She travels the world teaching about scrapbooking, photography and art in general.  She just arrived back in the states from Italy where she was teaching with the Paper & Show Co.  Her scrapbook pages are pure genius.  We are lucky to have her come teach us very cool and unique techniques for our pages on Saturday, April 25th at 1:00om.  The cost for the class is just $35 and you will leave with 2 completed 12x12 layouts and a funky card.  Come and be inspired by Emily as we paint, stitch and embellish our way through a creative class.

Fancy Pants, MORE Prima, Making Memories and MORE!! All NEW!!

We can't get the new product up on the shelves before more and more boxes of EVEN more NEW fabulous product rolls in!!!  Like a customer said just last week, "it's like Christmas in here every day!" 

Where shall we begin?  

Fancy Pants is so killer, actually BETTER than killer.....STELLAR!!  Seriously, it was the TALK of the show (between our gang...tee hee).  The new die-cut Kraft papers AND Kraft punch-outs are so beautiful.  The stamp sets, uh...let's just say.....THE BOMB!  Rubon's oh my, 5x8 notebook journals and mixed media books in the shape of a bracket and half bracket, flower, and square.  There are four, count 'em 4, NEW paper lines; On a Whimsy, Delight, Summer Soiree, and the all new Kraft Kuts!

Ok, the REAL talk of the show was Fancy Pants NEW frames!  The pieces inside the frames can be removed so you can scrapbook on them!!  You can stitch, paint, use rubons, adhere pictures, stamp, and the best part.....you can buy replacement acrylic non-glass center pages to fit into the frames.  This is such a cool new concept that allows us to turn our scrapbook pages into home decor!!  LOVE IT!!

We just got in the LONG anticipated "Rebellious" line from Prima.  Ahhhh....life is so good at Pink!!  The colors are so bright and bold, it's just brilliant!!

And MAKING MEMORIES....holy cow...we thought they hit it big with their teen boy & girl lines that just came out, but the WEDDING lines.....wow.....simply gorgeous!! There are soooo many cool new embellishments that go with the paper.  The line is so versatile it does not have to be used with Wedding photos, it can be used for many other events for your scrapbook.  Pictures of Making Memories will be loaded up tomorrow.  There were about 25 more unopened boxes in the crop room, so we have to jet!!!

Become “one with nature” as we create this 6x12 book full of recycled & reused materials! Explore using corrugated cardboard, felt, plastic packaging, and more while we create this playful book about all the colors of life. We’ll also be using Jillibean Soup’s innovative recycled paper and journaling spots!

   

Mommy & Me Class Monday, April 20th 12:30 pm

Mommy& Me ABC 12x12 Album  Class  (Q,R,S,T)  Monday, April 20th 12:30-1:30pm Cost is just $10.00.

Kids ages 3 & up come scrapbook with Momto complete a 2-page 12x12 layout using the letters "Q,R,S,T."  Please bring a picture that starts with each letter.  Some examples are "Qualcomm, Quick, Queen, Quiet, Run, Ride, Race, Santa, Summer, Treasure, Tackle, Tutu."  We will be using a lot of punches, stamps, ribbon and pretty papers to  make our layout.  Please bring scissors and pop dots.

 

 

 

 

 

NEW PRODUCT:  We just got in the NEW Best Creations glitter papers, Cloud 9 and Heidi Grace's new lines, and also the new colors of Liquid Pearl.....which is a lot like stickles but without the glitter. Liquid Pearl can be used on fabric!!

 

Best Creations released some very COOL sports and patriotic papers.  They have yet to upload new pictures on their website, so you'll have to come on over to Pink to check it out!!

 

Heidi Grace and Cloud 9's new collections *Forever Love* and *Bay Blossoms* are so NEW that we could not get pictures for these lines either!!

The Smell of Fresh Flowers!!

 Ahhhh the new Petaloo flowers just arrived and they sure have turned this place into a color fest!  There are new felt flowers that have stitching on them, cool new glittery flowers, mini-Fleurette's with rhinestones in the middle, mulberry flowers, textured flowers....oooohhhh laaaa laaa!!  These are all NEW with new color schemes and a whole new look. 

My Little Shoebox- so this cutesy new little company didn't realize how POPULAR they were going to be so they have been back-ordered for what seems like is a decade.  We finally had to just tell them to ship us what they had ....we just couldn't take it anymore!!  The product is seriously on the *slow boat* from China.  No joke, it's true....the Owner of the company told me herself!!  Soooo anywho, they shipped us what they had and we got in about 10 of the new papers, overlays and some very cool letters.  Ahhh.....when it all arrives next week we will be in Shoebox heaven!! 

 

More New Maya Road & The New Crate Paper!!

We are all too familiar with back orders...but we sit back and wait patiently.  And when the yummy new product finally arrives we squeal with joy and wonder why we were ever disappointed with the wait, because it is sooooooo WORTH IT!! 

Maya Road's back order of fabulous ribbon, albums and other fun finds arrived yesterday!!  There are some very unique colors of the new pom-pom ribbon, the acrylic tabbed albums are back in stock and so are the 8x8 Binder Books.  Ahhhh pure heaven!! We also got the cupcake coasters back in stock FINALLY after a LLooooonnngggwait, but we were patient...remember???   The cupcake chipboard book is also back.  Ohhhh ohhhh and the new goodies from the trinket collection:  Crochet Shimmer Blossoms, Crochet Shimmer Butterflies and the Textured Knit Blossoms!!!  We also still have a few of the fun little chipboard houses that are filled with fun little chipboard pieces to embellish the outside and roof of the house.  Isn't the sample from the Maya Road Blog just the most darling thing you have ever seen?  (ok, well maybe not EVER, but it's pretty darn cute!!)

Big Announcements & Thank You's Are In Order!

First and foremost, Teri, Gloria and Krystie want to thank the MANY people that submitted layouts and projects for our upcoming Design Team cycle.  We had so many submissions that it took us much longer than anticipated to make a decision. The submissions were SO AMAZING it made decision making extremely tough on Gloria, our Design Team Leader.  The process for choosing "her team" was very well thought out and a job that none of us wanted!! Good job Gloria, we know it was painstakingly hard on you.  Again, to everyone that turned in submissions.....your work was beautiful, there wasn't one in the bunch we didn't LOVE!!  You are all so talented and deserving to be on Pink Pineapple's DT.  We will be having a new DT call again in 6 months and we hope you will all choose to make submissions again!!

Our current Design Team is responsible for all the beautiful layouts and projects that make Pink Pineapple such a beautiful place! We want to thank the following very talented people for their hard work and dedication to Pink Pineapple for the last 6-months during their commitment on our Design Team:  Rosie Ard, Heather Barker, Cierra Buchwald, Melanie Christie, April Clemens, Carrie Elias, Terri Kinjo, Erin Payne, and Gloria King.  You guys did an amazing job and the new team has some big shoes to fill!!

Garage Sale Fun!

To the many helpers, volunteers, Pink Pineapple employees, Seller's and Shoppers.....a HUGE THANK YOU for making Saturday such a fun event!!  This year was record breaking for sales for our Sellers, a very fun time for our Buyers, and a beautiful day for our many helping hands to spend the day together!  Thanks again....and we'll do it again in 6 months!! 

All the girls that helped came in several different shifts, sorry I didn't get a picture with everyone!!

At the end of the day, we were all so tuckered!!
