Gina Grable's Shabby Chic Valentine Banner Swap will be Bittersweet too!  Here are the details:

My Sweet Shabby Chic French Valentine Banner Swap:  Cost $15     Our color scheme for this project is anything in pinks, reds, creams, silvers and small amounts of black. Think soft, think sparkle, think France, think LOVE! On Monday, January 5^th at 6:00pm the groups will meet with Gina for 20 minutes to receive the chipboard base and letter for the banner.  Each participant will design and duplicate 10 of the same/similar part of the banner. Once you receive your assignment, please create your work on the chipboard using anything pertaining to Valentine’s Day and stick with the color scheme.  You may use any/all sorts of goodness on your section: water color, acrylics, gel medium, German glass glitter, ribbon, vintage jewels, and vintage valentines and remember to embellish, embellish, embellish! The only requirements are that you stay with the color scheme and include your letter if you have been assigned one (there will be 3 participants without letters, just the base). On the back, each participant should cover the back with paper or other element and include their artist info (name, email, blog, and a little decor for fun if they wish, etc.). For this swap, be sure to go right to the edge with your goodies, but please when or if you cover the holes, go back through them so that they are there.  You can get creative with them too, add large eyelets if you wish. Your 10 pieces will be due by 6:00pm on Monday, January 19^th (the sooner the better.) 

The big reveal is on Monday, January 26^th at 6:00pm.  

Sign-ups have already started, so call the store soon to reserve your spot!  There will be two swaps, one will make a "hanging banner" and the other will make a "standing banner."  Please specify which group you would like to be in. 

Mommy & Me Monday Craft December 29th

The kiddos have all received many gifts this holiday season, so we thought it only appropriate to have the Mommy & Me craft be a "Thank You" card that they can send to someone special.  There will be many different colors of cards they can pick from and we will have stamps, ink, punches, ribbon, buttons and scrap papers for them to create a one-of-a-kind Thank You card.  They will not necessarily copy the card on display, but they can if they choose to.  They can use their imaginations and just make their own with the supplies in the crop room.  The cost for the card (which includes and envelope) will be $1.  The store will open at 11:00am and the craft will be available all day.

Kid's Camp - Winter Break Monday & Tuesday

Pink Pineapple Scrapbooks is having Kid's Camp this Winter Break on Monday December 29th & Tuesday December 30th from 11:00am to 1:00pm.  During this 2-day camp the kids will be completing a 4x9 album decorated with all the new American Crafts Christmas papers & cool embellishments, including lots of glitter!  They will also be making a purse and 2 key chains, one for Mom and one for Dad!  The cost of the camp is $45.  All supplies are included, but the kids are encouraged to bring a basic tool kit and a lot of adhesive.  Call the store today (Sunday December 28th by 4:00pm to sign up!)  760-598-2222

   

October Afternoon!

Christmas is still lingering on at Pink Pineapple.  We got a HUGE, and I mean GI-NORMOUS, shipment from October Afternoon.  Life just doesn't get any better than this!

Weather vane, Good Cheer and Night Light are the perfect additions to the already popular October Afternoon products.  We got in all the paper, stamps, rubons and stickers...but the charms are back-ordered!  :(

The Good Cheer line is going to be perfect for all those Holiday pictures that we are developing!

We will keep you posted when the charms come in.  For now, we are just filling up with good product and staying out of the cold. 

Kid's Camp starts on Monday at 11:00am, remember to sign up in advance so the kids kits are ready for them when they arrive.

Bo Bunny & Heidi Grace

Getting new product in the store is always such a treat and makes the store look so pretty.  The new Bo Bunny "Flirty" and Heidi Grace "A Million Little Things" Valentine papers and embellishments are darling!       Heidi has some gorgeous new flocked papers!

Christmas Eve & Saturday ALL Day Crop

Can you believe it is already CHRISTMAS EVE?  How is the shopping, wrapping, baking, and celebrations going?  First and foremost, we want to wish you a very Merry Christmas!  Pink Pineapple Scrapbooks will be open December 24th (Christmas Eve) from 11:00am until 3:00pm for your last minute shopping spree.  We have had many Dads, Brothers, Husbands and Friends scurrying in all week to get those much coveted Pink Pineapple Gift Certificates (NO we are not telling for who!).  Our Gift Certificates are great because you can buy them in any domination you choose.  You can also order them over the phone!! 

After the food settles, the gifts are all unwrapped, and the family heads back home we would love for you to come and have some "ME" time and join us for our ALL DAY CROP, SATURDAY DECEMBER 27TH from 9:00am to 9:00pm.  Our crop room is huge, and we are always getting new tools for you to use.  Cost is just $20 and includes lunch, snacks, drinks and chances to win great product.

FREE Crop and FREE Make-n-Take Tuesday, December 23rd

Too Fun Tuesday! 

Have you ever wondered what goes on at Pink Pineapple on Tuesdays?  Well let me just say, it is the BEST day ever!!  We have several "regulars" that come in and scrap, and we have new people that show up every week.  We open early on Tuesdays....9:00am to be exact.  The ladies are ready and rarin' to go.  They bring in their totes and spread out the scrapbooking supplies and make a day of it.  Best of all, they have all the product they need or want at their fingertips.  We keep a running tab all day and then you just pay when you check out....hassle free.  We bake cookies all day in our convection oven, laugh a lot, and best of all....create create create.  The FREE crop goes from 9:00am until 6:00pm EVERY TUESDAY!!  We also have a FREE make-n-take each Tuesday.  We have a new make-n-take designed each month by one of our talented design team members.  This month, Carrie Elias, designed a Holiday Gift Tag!  Soooo cute, you must come in and make one.  No catch, no purchase necessary....just a simple  "Hello!"  We'd love to see you. 

Mommy & Me Monday Craft

The craft tomorrow will be a "Kiss Bracelet."  The kids will wrap the Hersey's kisses in green cling wrap ( or tulle if they want a different color) and tie ribbons between each piece of candy.  We will then tie it to their wrist to enjoy an after noon candy snack later!!

Winter Wonderland Class & Michelle Hill....

Winter Wonderland Project & Tags:    Monday 12/15   (Tonight!)    6:30pm.       $18.

Carrie Elias is coming to teach this whimsical project.  It is a card that holds your winter and holiday photos. Perfect as a small gift or just to place on the mantle in your home, it will bring the magic of the season and a smile to your face. We will be using the Pink Paislee paper “Tinsel Town”, lots of glitter, snowflakes, miniature reindeer, ribbon, and other shiny little do-dads. There are also some sweet winter sayings, and a journaling card for your memories or a holiday greeting. As an added bonus, we will be making 4 holiday tags to match…a lovely way to personalize your holiday gifts. Please bring with you: Paper trimmer, Scissors, Large Needle for ribbon, Dry Adhesive, Wet Adhesive for glitter (I used Elmer’s Craft Bond Glue), Glue Dots (mini, regular & large pop-up), Gold Inkpad (I used Drew Drop Brilliance in “Galaxy Gold”), Cropadile, 3-D Dots Adhesive Foam Strips (the strips work better than the dots for this).  There are still spots open, call the store to sign up for tonight!  760-598-2222.

Maya Road designed the cutest house shaped chipboard album and Heather Barker has decked it out with Theresa Collins new Christmas line, Bazzil paper flowers, rhinestones, sparkly red pipecleaners, ribbon, mesh, stamps & more. Come join Heather as she shows you some cool techniques and helps you decorate this pretty album so you can document your family holiday traditions in your very own Home for the Holidays album!
