Classes, anyway you slice 'em

Hey there pink chicks,

Can you believe how fast this month has gone by?  we have been busy here at the store and there are som many new things for you to see.  The slice is here and today we also got the spatulas and the shimmer paper as well!   

This week we also have 2 classes for you.  Tomorrow night is the Happiest class on Earth, chipboard mini Disney album. This class is taught by Erin Payne, and her mini books are always packed with lotsa fun little finds.  This Maya Road chipboard album is stuffed full of black, red and yellow doodlebug glitter papers, buttons, tulle, Jenni bowlin scallops, bazzill flowes and ribbons and all kinds of fun Mickey stuff!  The class is $35.00 and you can order a kit, if you can't make it to the class, as well. See the picture below of this little cutie. 

Then on Thursday we have 9 ladies coming for Beginner's Luck, but there is room for plenty more.  This class is a must if you are just starting out , or looking to get remotivated.  Erin Payne teaches this class, and she brings all kinds of her tools, stamps, and lord only knows what else, and she just lets you go crazy using her stuff.  It is like test driving all the tools, and deciding what you like!  A super fun class, and this layout is using all our new stuff from American Crafts.   If this layout does not suit your pictures you can recreate this same design using whatever papers you fancy, and Erin will walk you thought the whole process.

Making Memories Slice

Finally, the long anticipated wait for the new Making Memories Slice has hit the floor at Pink Pineapple.  We have two left in stock and 3 new Basics 2 cartridges.  Here is a little info on the new Slice:

Making Memories’ new patent-pending Slice is a portable digital cutting machine that measures less than five inches square and weighs less than two pounds. It’s simple interface and easy to read graphics window enables users to select from thousands of high-style images and instantly convert them into die-cuts ranging between ½" and 4" tall.

Mommy & Me Monday, & The Free Card Exchange

For tomorrow's Mommy & Me Craft the kid's will be making a "postcard."  It's super cute.  If you want to bring a wallet size photo of your child it will fit perfectly on the back.  They will stamp, glue and write.  All for just $1

 

 Our Free Card Exchange will be held on December 6th at 1pm.  We limit the participants to 20 and we still have a few spots open.  For December each participate will design 2 different tags (instead of cards).  You will then make the 2 tags for each person signed up.  Therefore, if 20 people sign up you will make 20 of each tag you designed, so 40 in total.  You will get a call one week before the event with a final head count.  If you can not make the meeting, you can always just drop your tags off at the store before the meeting.  The ladies in this group love to share ideas and techniques.  The best part is that you get 40 tags for FREE!  Call 760-598-2222 to get your name on the list before it fills up.

Two posts in one day!

Hey there girls,

It's has been a crazy day here!  First off, there are still some spots left in Heather Brown's card class tonight.  She is an awesome stamper and this girl can show you some stuff that will knock your socks off!  she is also the one on our design team who makes all the cute cards you have seen popping up around this place. Her class is at 6:30 pm and is $ 22.00, and i think you can even order kits if it is not too late.  {a sample above and at the bottom of this post too}

Also we heard that a box of Making Memories is also on the way, taking the long way here, ( it was lost- but they found it! Down south in San Diego!) So it should be here very soon!  Anyhow, that is it for now.

Also we got a really darling line from my little yellow bicycle, and it is all new Christmas yummies. All kinds of papers, and yummy stuff to start you 08 cards with, or even a wee Christmas album.  So cute I love it all.  We also have their great Halloween line too, just a little spooky, for all your little devils.       Don't forget about the 9- 9er on Saturday, you can still sign up, and on Sunday Michelle Hill is having her ATC class as well.  That is it for today!  xoxox

So, how is everyone doing?  We are great here.  So for all of you thrifty stampers we have some super duper news for you!  We just got an awesome order of dollar stamps, and there is one set for every month. Super for making a calendar or using on your monthly layouts. We also have some very cute fonts, little teeny weenie letters, and some swirly gigs, as well as journalling spots.  Now there is one thing about the journalling spots that Teri and I had a wee bit of a laugh about.  The journalling spot is so tiny that we think you may have to be a sprite, or perhaps a fairy, troll or leprachan of some kind, to have small enough hands to write in that tiny little spot.  Har Har Har!

Also, we would like to let cha know that our website is down for a bit due to construction, so if you have any questions, about classes, or anything, you can sure leave a comment on this blog, and we will answer it for you, or please feel free to call the store if you need to know about anything.  Our # is 598-2222, and we open at 10 am.

PS:  The layout at the top is using Making Memories paper from the Spooktacular line, and the fall door hanger is so cute.  We are out of the tree paper, but all you need is some cardboard inked up, some paper, and then make the tree with felt, circle scraps, buttons, and a chunck of ribbon!  How cute is that!  I love all these cute ideas, so easy to duplicate.  Just come on buy and get what ya need. 

Oh and if you scroll down you will see the Halloween treat bags, they are embellished with papers and such, and I make them every year for the spooky cuties from the neighborhood.  Well i am also making them for my wee guys preschool class so I wanted to let ya in on a scoop.  I bought the orange lunch bags yesterday at the big Walmart on College, 10 for $1.00.  Such a steal, and the bags are so much cuter when they are a  Halloween color.  I know a few of you have been asking where I get the bags, so go to that Walmart and go down into the Hallmark card row, they are right by the gift bags.  I will take a picture of this years when I am done!  Super cute and easy, and a good way to use up some extra bits and baubles in my stash!  Chow for now Pinkies! 

Bus Tour Hangover!

    Happy Monday Pink Ladies,

So, i am not sure about you, but i have a bus tour hangover!  Holy moses, we really did have a good time.  First, all 51 of us piled on the bus, including Richard, one very brave man, who we made swear to secreracy about "what happens on the bus , stays on the bus!"  Come on, at times it got a little crazy, the nice, timid, and sweet girls, at the front of the bus, and then the naughty girls held down the back of the bus, until our little friends showed up, then the dirty girls, moved up front too!!!  Hee hee, you all know what i mean! 

     Anyhow, we were all piled up, and had a heck of a time!  Kimmy was my wing man, and together neither one of us took a header thru the windshield!!!  Lord have mercy...Hieme, our driver was putting the pedal to the metal, {for real, what in the heck, like going 137 miles an hour...down the flippen highway,... and even cranked a u-e??? in a bus no less??  i am holding on to this dang microphone for dear life, Heime!!!  Slow down!!!} and at times Kimmy was holding onto my waist so hard, grabbing onto my pant loops, what the heck... i am just gonna have to sit right on her!  So thanks Kimmy, Thanks for everything, all your help, but mostly for holding me down!  Too funny! 

     So we played games, shopped our brains out, told stories, and got to know each other!  Just a great day!  So many fun goodies, it was great!  Thanks to everyone who made our day so fun..to krystie and teri for all the planning and hard work, to all the customers, who made the day so fun, and to the staff at Scrappin' Table, and Scrapbook Garden.  We had a wonderful time, cant wait til next time!!

Hello pink chicks, 

And now for your first installment in "these are the Days of our lives"

  What's happenin' hot stuff?  It has been a little toO hot around O'side, {but it did not stop me from croppin'.  it is for sure... i am crazy, certifiable nut job, whacko- loo- loo.}  So the fires started about 3:30, and lets just say it was too close for comfort, and we were very uneasy.  Called Allstate to make sure all was good, videotaped the whole joint, take stock of everything, grab the passports, and birth certificates,  and then left for the Pineapple. (Who does this?)  You know you love to scrap, when the last thing you do is grab your family passports, and birth certificates before you leave the house.  So scary, but once i got to the store, i calmed right down. {Thanks girls!}  Kept in touch with my cute hubby and cutie boys, all were safe.  By the time i got back home at 10:30, the fire was so much better!  I want to say a huge thank you to all the firemen, and women.  I literally watched you fight this fire, and was cheering you on.  The helicopters, and the super scoopers, were amazing to watch them aim with perfect precision and just put that sucker out!!!!!!!  It truly was an amazing thing to see and the CDF, and city fire crews did an awesome job.  A huge thank you, from me and all the others up here in Oceanside!!!!!THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  So, Meanwhile, at the pink, Mr. brown shorts has really been busting out his muscles.  We have 5 new lines of BASIC GREY!  Yahooooo- this stuff is so cute!      We have all the papers, the packs, and the extra cute stuff that matches.{Not sure where it is gonna fit yet- hee hee hee}.  Anyhow, we have our crop tomorrow night, so give us a holla' if you want to come by, and on Saturday--- the pink bus will be on the road again!  Can't wait for that!  Talk to ya'll soon sweeties.  Love team Pink!

      Here is a little photo of the project for Mommy and Me tomorrow.  The kiddos will be making a Halloween card and it includes the envelope.  Cost is $1.  There is a pumpkin, bat, Frankenstein or ghost for them to choose from.
